My Hearts Creed

A love so blind we rushed right in,

The foolishness of our own deeds.

But even though we did not win,

The love we share lives on and bleeds.

We long to grasp and hope one day,

That life will give us what we need.

And with each other we will stay,

A passionate fire only we can feed.

This is my pledge to you my love,

I have been affected by my greed.
