Sunset

Painted skies

Purple and red

Showing the upcoming day

That I so dread

The sun falls

To create a new day

Brings words of sadness

That I am forced to say

The sunset brings

Such sad memories

Of the day you left this world

And when you left me

But maybe someday

At the sunset ill smile

But that will take

A very long while
