The girl stood in the lone room, a knife in her hand. She was running away, away from this horrible life. A life of happiness that suddenly turned into a wreck of pain and havoc. Her dirty blonde hair stuck to her sweaty, teary face.

A door opened on the other side of the room; Daniel. The girl was pushed into the room by another force behind her. Cathy caught her.

“Do you see what you’ve done to my daughter?! She’s become suicidal!” Cathy’s mother yelled.

Daniel looked up at the other girl,” Y-you tried to k-kill yourself?”

Cathy’s eyes welled up with tears.

“I-it isn’t your fault! I-I just can’t live this way anymore!” She bawled.

“Isn’t her fault! You little bitch it’s all her fault! She’s seduced you can’t you see?!” Her mother yelled.

“No!” Cathy screamed. “It’s never been your fault Daniel!”

She hugged the younger girl. The knife dropped from her hands.

“Please, please don’t ever think this was your fault!” the girl in her arms wept.

A clicking sound could be heard; both girls looked towards the door. Cathy’s father stood there, a gun in his hands. It was aimed at Daniel.

“Cathy I damn well warned you. This crime will be dealt my way!” the man roared.

“No Father! Don’t do this! I love her!” she hugged the girl tighter, promising to never let go.

Her mother slapped her out of the way.

“No!” Daniel shrieked reaching for Cathy, blocked by her mother.

Cathy’s Father pulled the trigger.

A shriek could be heard around the surrounding neighborhood.

Daniel stood there as Cathy’s blood ran down the front of her dress. Cathy’s body trembled as she tried to stay standing. She smiled and took a breath it caused her to choke, she coughed blood.

“I promised,” she whispered as she fell back.

Her body hit the floor with a thump. Daniel picked up her head with a shaky hand. She cried harder.

“Please don’t cry. You’ll be a lot better off if I’m not her-“

“That’s not true! I couldn’t live without you Tabs!!!” she clapped her hand over her mouth.

Cathy smirked,” Still calling me that damned name I see.”

“Don’t die,” Daniel whispered as she leaned to kiss the other girl. Their lips barley touched as Cathy’s father pulled Daniel’s hair.

“Look what you’ve done you damn whore! You killed my daughter!” he roared.

Daniel looked down at the peaceful girl. Her eyes were closed; her hair was drenched in blood.

“No,” she whispered.” No! It wasn’t me! You killed her! It’s entirely your fault!” She yelled at the towering man.

“You bitch!” he yelled, throwing her against the wall and pulling out the gun again.

The door banged against the wall as a boy stepped in. His hair was jet black and flipped out at the different layers.

“What. What the hell did you do to her?!” the boy yelled.

His face turned a slight shade of red from anger. Tears welled in his eyes as bent down to his friend. He held her cold body tightly in his hands. He closed his eyes and kissed her cheek.

“You bastard. You bastard you killed her didn’t you! Beating her wasn’t enough?!” he growled at the man.
