This is a poem about a snowstorm a couple of days ago
April Snow Storm
A girl wakes one morning and gives a great "Eep!
For out of the window there is snow that's quite deep
It's the middle of April now how can this be
And so the girl gets up and runs out to see
The snow in huge flakes falls all about thickly
Wind blows them around here and there very quickly
It sticks to the branches it sticks to the trees
It piles up high till it reaches her knees
"Your late!" says the girl "It's april, it's spring"
In december, your cold winter snow you should bring
Little birds fly here and there all confused
They don't really know what to think the girl mused
The wood dove sings in a snow covered pine
Like all other springs it's long forlorn line
