A/N: I wrote this poem for English class and thought I would put it up. I don't really write much poetry, so let me know if it's any good.

Also, I'm not too sure about the title, so if you have any suggestions let me know.

I see.

These eyes I use to see,

I see people controlled by substances,

I watch as young girls give it all up,

I witness betrayal,

I see the unbreakable break,

I observe the innocent suffer,

I watch the kindhearted controlled by heartache,

I see people bogged down by their troubles,

I see people losing time,

I hear the silent cries of the maltreated,

I notice people not living life,

I see them taking everything for granted,

Watch them as everything is taken away,

I see this world we live in.
