It’s Patty.
I did my homework.
Really, I did.
But, someone took it.
That someone also took me.
It was that weird kid at our school. The kid that always stands around, wandering, looking like a lost soul.
He was always scary to me, but I never thought he would go so far just to get something.
Here’s my story.
One day, while walking home, I was confronted by the kid. I never wondered if he would be a foe or a friend. I learned however, that he was indeed a foe.
He wanted my homework. I was in shock! He didn’t know the fury and rage that you could unleash if a student didn’t turn in homework.
After telling him about you, He told me to look at his face closely. While I did that, he blasted a, “ Does it look like I care?” right into my face. I asked him why he wanted my homework since he was not in English 1A.
It was then he told me of his horrid plan.
“ If you must know, I’m planning to turn in her assigned homework and tell her, Ms. Clements, I really believe I can succeed in being in your class, and here’s work to prove it. Then I give her the work and charm her some more. When I get to be in English 1A, guess what I’m going to do, I’m going to disrupt her and her pathetic class!’
I couldn’t think of such a horrible thing to do to you!
It was then I decided I wouldn’t help him do such mayhem.
How dare he think of such a plan, to try to harm dearMiss Clements in any way!
I told him; right then that I would never help him do that and he will never get my paper. I told him that I, Patty, was willing to eat tons and tons of garlic & onion (which I hate) all in the honor of English. I felt like an English Honors Super Hero right then! …Right before he knocked me out with a punch.
I never thought he would take me so seriously!
I woke up in a dark room filled with something stinky. As I sniffed the air some more, someone had stepped into the room and turned the lights on. There in front of me, were garlic and onion flavored food! I panicked as I saw the guy that wanted my homework and it seems that he has it, right in his hands. I was strapped in a chair, so I couldn’t run or move.
And then, he threatened me with food!
He wanted to know what other classes that you had!
I wouldn’t tell, so he began to feed me the stuff. The horrible onion-garlic flavored food.
When he got to the garlic bread, I was ready to throw up, but I wouldn’t give in to him. So he fed me garlic bread. I was surprised that the garlic bread didn’t taste so bad, and then I had a great plan. I decided to bluff. I shouted and screamed that the garlic bread was the worst and begged him to not feed it to me again. As I thought, he grinned maniacally and fed me some more garlic bread. I finally decided to give in—to give in to another bluff that is. I managed to tell him in a painful voice that the other room was in 808A2. He screamed that there was no such room. I told him it was secret and he could go to the school and look for it and then I released a fit of coughs (fake ones that is). He agreed to go look for it at the school, and left, leaving me there alone.
It was my chance to escape.
I twisted and turned and pulled until the rope and tape gave away. I sat up and ran as fast as I could out of the room. It turns out I was in the school. I panicked and ran out of the school as fast as I could, hoping he didn’t see me. I rushed home and decided to tell you why I don’t have my homework. So you see Miss Clements,
I did my homework.
Really, I did.
I didn’t even lose it!
He took it!
