Twas the night before I became king

‘Twas the night before I became king,

Yeah, I remember the times when I was considered nothing

I was a mere peasant with nothing to my name,

Those were the days that were full of shame.

I was born to be a king,

Yeah yeah, blah blah, freedom ring,

I remember the times when I was to bow,

I was thinking, come on; let me take you, here and now.

I was told that I’d never get what I want,

But tomorrow, I guess I’ll get to flaunt.

Everyone doubted me, the king dared belittled me,

But tomorrow I’m taking his spot, tee hee hee!

When I’m king, all the little people will obey me,

They will beg to please me, and adore thee.

People will shower with me with gifts and things,

Yeah, yeah, the brilliant joy that I bring

When I become king---

Wait, what? You said something?

Am I really going to be king?

Oh, no, I’m just dreaming.
