4/20. A day that tended to be met with little enthusiasm, except that it was the day that American students would smoke weed, though this year's was different.

There was uneasy tension at the school, but hardly anybody knew what for. At least, any of the students. The teachers and faculty at Avalanche High School all knew what was supposed to happen that day. They opted out of telling the parents, but there were rumors floating around. False rumors. And true rumors. And it was one of the scarier rumors that was true.

But that day hadn't come yet. It was 4/19. Tomorrow would be the day that a catastrophe happened. There was extra security that day, already. There would be still more security the following day. Some teachers had already told the teachers that they were unable to come to school the next day. The smarter studnts decided to skip the next day.

The message was a succinct one. It was in the boys' restroom for about an hour until security came by and erased the message. But it was enough time for Vincent Jefferson to read the message.

"4/20: All will be in smoke."

Vince admired the work of art with a mocking smirk. A little magic smoke should put an end to the trick.
