I think it's time they realise that if eyes are desperate enough to plead, they're desperate enough to lie.

Pleading Eyes Will Lie

So far I've been turned away,

I've been pushed away,

forced away

from you.

They push and shove

with subtleties

that seem to

dissect my mind

before their eyes.

But they don't really see

all you mean to me

and if they think that I will stray

I won't be pushed away.

So far they say

to look away

to run away

not to stay.

They come between the pleading eyes.

Bleeding lies are forced from

our wounds.

So far they say

it'll go away,

I'll never stay,

I'll walk away

from you.

But they don't see

all you mean to me

and I know you see

that I won't turn away.

We won't be forced away.

I won't walk away

from you.
