Inevitable heartache

to remorseful descent.

A tree of strength,

standing tall.

If its roots were rotten,

wouldn't it fall?

A bird of peace,

flying high.

If its wings were broken,

wouldn’t it die?

A couple in love,

denying disputes.

They have broken wings

and failing roots.

They stay, broken,

unfair and unjust.

They’re saddened to prove

there’s no love without trust.
