Hello, my dear readers. I've been toying with the idea of writing this for a while. (Well, since the begining of the hockey season.) I would first off like to point out that I do not personally know any of the hockey players that I will be mentioning. I so wish I did know them but I don't. So please do me and you a favor by not sending me hate mail or giving me bad reviews because they would never ever act that way.

Also I would like to point out that this story is purely fiction and something that I came up with all on my own. So agian do not send me hate mail, I really would appreciate that.

Thanks Tory

"NO! No, no, NO!" I screamed then bit my bottom lip while glowering.

Tiny angry little splotches and dots swam into my vision as I felt my emotions rising.

I stared at the person in front of me while eyeing them apprehensively. The was not happening. I was not going to be forced to work with him. He was one of the NHL's 'most talented rookies' and not to mention the hugest egotistical and egocentric jerk, in the whole entire planet. (Well, maybe I'm being a little bit harsh. But I still do not like him!)

Okay, I should probably back up a little bit and explain what is going on in the crazy world I call my life. First off my name is Rayane Lamont (it's pronounced ray-anne) but most people just call me Rae. I'm Scottish and Filipino, average height, which means I'm 5'5", and in my opinion a little bit above average looking. I have reddish-brown hair, maroonish-brown eyes, and light golden honey colored skin. I'm eighteen years old and a sophomore in collage. (And let me tell you, I am so happy about graduating early, I did not like high school.)I'm majoring in Fine Arts and English.

You may be wondering as to why I chose to major in those two areas. Well, I chose to major in English so I can 'officially' become a creative writer even though I published a book at the age of fourteen. Unfortunately, in order to get a 'good living' –as my parents put it- I've got to have a 'real' job. (That translates into me getting rich so that they can retire off my hard earned money, and we all know that writers do not make much too money.) That is why I am also majoring in Fine Arts (the acting and dancing is supposed to be my 'real' job). I don't mind though, I love acting and dancing. I guess you can say I have what people call 'raw talent' when it comes to acting, so I get good acting gigs here and there. Also the pay is decent and I've made it into some pretty big stage productions. (So between my wages from acting and royalties from my books I make a pretty good living for a girl of eighteen.) Oh, silly me, you must be wondering about my dancing. I flat out love dancing; I've been prancing around in all kinds of dance shoes since I was little, so it makes sense to major in it. Well, that's basically all you need to know about me for now.

So the crazy little scene in which you had just entered needs a little explaining, so I'll start from there. I have a cousin, Jena, who is a director. Well, about six months ago she came to me with a dilemma. She needed a T.V. script written A.S.A.P because one of the producers for a show they were working on fired all their screen writers, leaving them with no story line. So Jena, knowing that I've published several successful books asked me to come up with a good T.V. script. I knew Jena needed help; no one was going to want to have to come up with a script on such short notice (the casting calls were supposed to start in a week). When I gave Jena her copy of the manuscript I thought I was going to be done with the T.V. show and go on my merry way.

I was wrong. A week ago I got a call from (a very frustrated) Jena. It seemed that the girl they had in mind for playing the main character bailed out on them last minute. Jena said that they needed someone that had acting experience and knew the script like the back of their hand to play the role since they were to start filming that Friday. My poor cousin was so stressed out trying to figure out who to get to play the part that she almost had a mental break down, but then she remembered me and instantly felt better. I must say I felt bad for Jena, so I agreed to play the part without even asking who was going to be my co-star. Let me say big mistake! I got the biggest shock of my life when I found out who my co-star was.
