Another Note: This is where I encountered about three or four loopholes that destroyed the story, so it will be a long time before this is updated again, if ever.
“Of course,” he replied. “I wouldn’t miss an opportunity like this. I mean, World Tournament? This event will be bigger than anything else you’ve ever heard of.”
“And we can finally show them that the spirit of Kalix is the strongest of them all,” a third man said walking out of a back room.
“You’re going too, Pheni?”
“Absolutely!” he exclaimed. “The power of the God of Thunder will shock them all!”
Shori and Risho couldn’t help but chuckle at Phehi.
“That was a horrible pun,” Risho stated quite bluntly.
“But I did get a laugh out of you.”
“I guess that’s true,” said Shori with a shake of his head.
“So how many weeks are left?” Risho asked as he struck the punching bag with a crescent kick.
“Three.”
“Then I guess we’d better get started on our training.”
“What do you mean we?” exclaimed Pheni, giving Risho a playful kick in the shin. “We’ve been working for the past month!”
“Yeah!” added Shori. “Besides, you don’t seem to need it. Even with our training, we can’t beat you.”
“Talented, I guess,” replied Risho with a childish smile. He stuck the bag with two quick jabs, and then followed with a sharp left charged with static electricity. The blow sent the bag to the ceiling, much to the amazement of the other two.
“You two enjoy your training,” he said as he turned for the dojo doors. “I believe it’s dinner time for me.”
