Moonlight

Time and time again

I look for you

But I never find you

I now have someone who cares

Every night I look for him by moonlight

When the moon comes out from behind the clouds

I see his silver hair

His green eyes shine when he sees me

His hand gently caresses my cheek

He wipes away my tears of loneliness

He raises my face

I look at him and know I’m not alone anymore
