Untitled - 09/01/2005

I might not have seen them for quite a while
And I may no longer feel I know them very well
But it’s not their fault of mine that
They don’t know me much either, I can tell.

At least when I’m with them, it
Feels like I’m worth something
I’m not just a puppet you can
Control by pulling on strings

I’d like to get to know them again
As I did when I was young
You have to understand they’re my family too
And I’m not a kid anymore, Mum.
