Shadows

I sit

In my chair

and make shapes with

my hands

to watch

the shadows.

And I wonder

if Tim Burton

did this

and that is why

all his characters

have really spindly fingers

I wonder if he

sat in the

warmth of the sun

in his living room

and was fascinated

with his shadow.
