PROLOGUE

- Many years ago -

War sirens filled the air, as war planes flew low. Doors closed, all windows were boarded up, long ago. No bright colours could be seen. Maybe only in the cabarets, but other than that, it was like a blanket of grey had covered the town. A plump man, hurried down the street, hugging a small package tightly, as he quickly ran down the streets. A over large trench coat covered him, with a tattered scarf. He looked behind nervously, as other's quickly locked their doors, obviously not welcoming strangers for shelter. But that wasn't his main concern, not at the moment. He pulled his cap lower, hiding his face, as he continued down the street.

Over the years, the country his ancestors once considered home had changed drastically. It was a new regime, or that was what the government called it. A new order, to 'protect' the people. Protect. The plump man wondered how this war against the resistance was called protection. He snorted at the thought. Among the very few, he was a double agent, for the resistance and the government (in some way). And like most, he also led a double life, hiding the very existance of their plot. Explosions could be heard, as he ducked into a darkened alley way. Breathing heavily, he entered a secret passage way, where a small group of people sat, in deep disscussion.

"Did you get it?" a woman stood up. The plump man nodded, extending the package he was holding. A man with glasses, took the package, before pushing his glasses up.
"They still have big plans," the plump man grumbled, seating near the entrance. The woman nodded. Her dark hair was seen clearly through the single light in the room.
"So do we," the man with the glasses smirked slightly, presenting their plans. "We have plans for a safer world, a world where the people are free." the plump man nodded, wiping his sweat.
"So when do we start?"

- Present -

"Damn it," the brunette swore, as she doudged another punch. Grinding her teeth, she kicked the soldier as hard as she could before positioining herself in a defensive position. Muttering to himself, the soldier smirked, attacking the woman once again, this time she evaded, knocking him to the ground.
"Geez, Wilson!" the man groaned, "You don't have to hit that hard!" laughing, the brunette pulled the man to his feet, before dusting herself off.
"Get over it, Tom." she smiled. Rolling his eyes, Tom Jones shook his head, placing his gun back in his belt, before retrieving his hat.
"Don't make it into a big deal, Wilson,"
"I'm not," she shot back, grabbing her hat, "Captain," she added, emphasising on the name. He looked at her hard.
"Come on, Nicky!" he exclaimed, "You're acting like a..."
"A what?!" she challenged, sending daggers at him.
"Ah... never mind," he quickly trailed off. She eyed him carefully, before letting it go. Sighing heavily, she looked at the sky above them, breathing in the air.
"It's beautiful here," she commented. He nodded.
"Sure is, but it'll never be like home."

"What's going on?!" the Admiral demanded, as the alarms went off. Soldiers around him scrambled around, running to their stations. Commander Spike, who stood beside him, shrugged looking around worriedly.
"Not sure, Admiral." he responded, "But obviously something bad."
"No shit," the Admiral muttered. Turning around slightly, Admiral Visor Platu made his way to his commanding ship. Spike quickly followed him, as several other soldiers began to board the ship, with various supplies.
"Commander!" Spike turned around, facing the soldier fully.
"What is it, Petty Officer?" he asked.
"They're here." the officer responded, straightening himself. "The Acco's."

Acco. Most known once as Exco, were things that were made by men. More sprecifically, they were made under the free regime, to help the people for the people. But they changed. They evolved, and started to go against the people. Once robots, they developed and grew. They had emotions. And now, with their increase in populations, they began to rebel. Fighting back the very men who created them. Colony after colony, the Exco began to take over, with only one last left. The Apollo Colony.
