Another of my peaceful poems... This one is actually hot off the press, and I haven't given it to any of my usual critics yet, so please review. Good, bad, or indifferent, please tell me what you think, and any thoughts for improvement, of course, are eagerly welcomed.

Lucid

Open your eyes and listen

The vision will come, just listen

I have something to tell you

-

The unbroken blue of infinite clarity

Arcs high out of reach, the color

Of clichéd tears, and the ocean

-

The sight of the sea you can never forget

Though the long memory stands elegiac

Of last years happiness, and of those before

-

Feel the first deep breath of awareness

Like Sunday morning sunshine

Or the lingering taste of sweet tea, as you

-

Press cold, wet hands to your face

Remembering that April never asks

Even its storms are warm and open
