So, my love

I have a few questions

If I mean the world to you

Then why do you do the things you do

You never just come forward to speak

Or you mumble when you do

But that's only after I pick at

The shell you keep around yourself

If you trust me so much

Then why do I have to provoke you

To get you to tell me what you're feeling

Or thinking inside?

Let me tell you something dear

I try hard to care

But you don't let me in, Ray

You don't, no clue why

I wish you would choose to come

And talk to me dear

But you don't, and it hurts

I know, Lizzie does the same thing

But she has a valid reason

And I'm going to help her talk

Because I know she needs it

And wants nobody but me to help her

But you hold yourself back

I don't know why, hun

You just do

Oh and one more thing

You do that, I don't care anymore
