Over 32 electives to choose from at SKHS… but you don’t know which ones to take? How about trying Intro to Photoshop? Or, try learning what makes a computer tick in A+ Essentials. But first, let’s explain what Intro to Photoshop is.

Intro to Photoshop teaches digital art. You will learn how to use Photoshop to alter, fix, and create images on the computer. Prerequisites recommend taking IC3 or Computer Applications before registering. It counts as either a Career credit or General Elective credit, and is only 1 trimester long- plus it is open for fall, winter, and spring trimester. This shows Intro to Photoshop counts as 1/3 credit, and it teaches the “hows” and “whats” of digital art. Therefore, taking Intro to Photoshop, while minding the prerequisite, will earn you a Career credit or a General Elective credit.

If you want to know what’s inside a computer, take A+ Essentials. A+ Essentials teaches what’s inside a computer, and how each part functions. It counts as a Career credit as well, but it also might be considered a Work-based Learning credit. It is, as well, 1 trimester long, and is also open for fall, winter, and spring trimesters. This implies that A+ Essentials teaches you what’s inside a computer. Therefore, it counts as a General Elective Credit or a Work-based Learning credit.

These were just 2 of over 32 electives you can choose from at SKHS. Try taking Intro to Photoshop if you want to learn more on digital art. Take A+ Essentials if you want to learn the functions of the “organs” in a computer. Taking both classes, and only failing one, will still earn you a Career credit.

Expository paragrpahs are supposed to be emotionless, but they can't be boring. How the hell is THAT supposed to make sense?! Whatever... well, this essay I did is indeed fact-based and not fictional like that stupid persuasive thing I had to write... I only got 14/20 on that, but I got a 50/50 on this expository essay! HA!
