Bittersweet

I only despise those dark shallow eyes

Born from infinite hurt, a shade of blue hypocrisy

Lost in your menacing voice, I am mended, yet broken

A soft, sweet, ghastly lullaby

So enchantingly painful

So cruel, yet completely satisfying

You, my reoccurring nightmare,

Sleep deprived, I crave it

Your malignant embrace that carved out my soul

I yearn for that blissful void

That tantalizing burn left from our toxic entrapment

I am tearing those scars

The ones you left on my lips, and heart

I rip at them, so to not lose that feeling

The memory of your bittersweet scent

A lovely perfume of brimstone, and warm honey

Oh, the poisoned honey that dripped from each careless word

And the beautiful brimstone, my only sight of truth

I wish to forget it, how I wish I could
