Queen of Ice

Dear fiend, foe, or fickle friend

What did I do to cause this end?

I never meant to hurt you so

But without a thought I let you go

You played me like a game of poker

You, the queen; I, your worthless joker

We took a chance and rolled the dice

Your heart stayed cold, with words of ice

My tears rolled down like acid rain

But you were blind to see my pain

But now the better hand is mine

And when you’ve left, I’ll be just fine

So say goodbye my frozen friend

Because I’m glad I caused its end.
