You made me feel like I belonged

Taking my good with all my wrong

Your flaws were masked by dumb, blind trust

And with no warning you said you must-

Rip my heart out of my chest

Take back the words, but leave the rest-

Of memories I held so tight

Because I thought it felt so right

But now my heart is closed and sewn

My feelings are no longer shown

But the blame, it’s all on me

Because of my stupidity
