What happened to make us fall apart?

We were such good friends but now we’re getting a new start

Why did this happen? What made us change?

Why is it suddenly everyone is strange?

Why can’t we all just seem to get along?

Sitting at the stairs singing our favorite song

Those were memories of good days gone past

It’s ironic that back then we thought our friendship would always last

Two words to save us all

Two words to end it

Two words to stop hatreds flow

But what these words are I don’t know

So in the end, if there is an end

We’ll pretend that none of this really ever happened

But we’d know we lied

Cause down inside we’re all scarred and broken

We try to hide, we say we’re fine

But everyone has their problems

It’s friendships like this that give you friends

To help you try and solve your problems

Maybe everything will be alright

Maybe we actually needed that fight

In the end we can try to get it right
