Paralyzed

I sat there immobilized by fear
As I tried to make my muscles move

Thoughts ran through my mind
How dare you

Throw their lives away

As I watched their crimson lives spill away
As I watched their last breath escape their lips
To my disgust and revulsion
I can't bring myself to stand

To think
To move
To react
To avenge

From your reviling actions
And repulsive motives
You killed them for pleasure
For the sheer thrill of feeling bigger
Than you really are

I want your life spilt away
To drain into the earth and
Purify and cleanse
But your soul will drift the earth
Forever condemned to watch those happier than you
