Dandelion

I'm not the little dandelion in the field anymore

Among a sea of look-alikes

Afraid to stand out on my own

I'm a full blown flower

An eye-popping experience you can't ignore

I attract other flowers, insects and such

While you sit there with your company of weeds

I'm not the little dandelion in the field anymore

I hog the water, I bathe in the sun

The other flowers don't understand me

But that's me; I'm different

You're just the same as the weeds

You can't hurt me anymore

With the things you do

I'll pick the dandelions day by day

And give them to you

Note: It has been awhile since I have written something, since other things have preoccupied my time.

Review if you wish.
