Prelude

Forty-eight years prior to this story, Cayden Kolanus, Prince of Dandar, and the sorcerer Nour Micailan sailed east from the port city of Palton, on the eastern most coast of Dandar, in search of other lands. They eventually came upon the continent of Efillen.

The continent of Efillen is divided into four Provinces, each one governed by a ruler that is elected by the people of that particular Province.
