fire

By:silence isn't always golden

she danced into the serene

burning orange-red light

not listening to the warnings

everyone told.

she was ostrazied, abused

she felt safe in the light

it felt relaxing

"more than the waves in the ocean" she would say

then she would dissolve into a burning crisp

never to see light again

she danced into the serene

burning orange-red light

not realizing that her ashes

would be collected the next day.

Author's note: Just a muse and a way to vent out anger from the shitty week I had.
