Dark and cold, bright and hot

Tearing into cloth,

Sleepless nights, dreamless voice,

Reaching, groping,

Trying to catch on substance,

High pitched, down cast,

What is that song running through my head,

It reminds me of you, of you breathing,

Living desire whispering

I lean in closer,

Trying to catch you through the flickers,

Eyes closing in half light,

Felt your arms wrapping tight,

It felt so good, it felt surreal,

To know it's you I fear,

Trust comfort smiles

I wake up and you're gone.
