i wrote this because you know when you finish a book and it make you soooo sad? well i decided to write a poem about that. it makes me really sad when a book is done. i go sit in a corner and cry.

The Book Ends

It makes me sad when books are done
There’s nothing left to be won
“What happens next?” you may ask yourself
Do they live or die? Do they eat some pie?
You can only hope there will be a sequel
Though it may or may not be equal
It leaves you to wonder. You sit and ponder.
Will it make you sad when my poem ends?
I can try, but I can’t continue forever; I cannot mend
Oops, here comes the end:

Dew a get a caffinine high. it'll be called Ode to Caffinine or however you spell it... i forget. i can spell broccolii either. some kid told me there was a k in it. i think he's lying. (course, he also tried to convince me that xylophone was spelled with a z) .
