Who I Am

I may not be glamorous
Or beautiful,
By society standards
But I am strong
and I am spirited.

I may not be rich and live
In a mansion,
Like Hollywood stars,
But I have family
And I have love.

I may not be intelligent
And have a PhD
Like a Harvard graduate,
But I have hope
And I have dreams.

I may not be any
Of these things
Good or bad,
But I'm content
To be who I am.
