a yellow leaf

falls

through blue horizon

encrusted in

silver and gold

melting fervently

pass by

an old man

dry and wrinkled

rocking chair

squeaks

mushy newspaper

frigid dew evaporates

under cobalt sky

gives in

verdant cords

fall

from willow tree

sparkle breathing

last breaths

a yellow leaf

falls

period

ends this life
