Roughest Diamond

Friendship illuminates what we mean to each other

Despite the bluntness of our edges

Binds the bond of affection

Confusingly entangled in permanence

Yet my passion seems to overcome the friendship

And woo your soul I did

Fanning the flame that gives us warmth

And the same flame that might burn us

Regardless of the sharp thorns from a rose

Regardless of the double sidedness of this swords blade

Regardless of all the pain that could break hearts

I choose to grasp you and never to let go

Sorry the drama cloaked our love from time to time

And time to time I though of saving myself from the hurts

To pick out the parts of me that wants you

To pick out every piece of me that needs you

Only to realize that such cannot be achieved

To me you are not a part, for I made you my whole

Erasing out the pieces of me that wants you

Requires erasing me all

The poison that is the tears

From all the hardship of the path we choose

And yet I would rather shed tears and cry

Than to let go of you from my hold

When time seems to make my eyes see in blurs

Your beauty shines brightly just the same

Your body of this earthly seduction

To your soul that is heavenly charm

Because no frown we make can shroud our love

As no tears we’ll shed can end this romance

And although it takes a lifetime to make a love last forever

You’ll find we’ll be hand in hand all the way

This roughest diamond we have

May it become so perfect and flawless like our dreams

Or Meaningful but memories of the past

Is up to the hands of only you and me

So hold it like I cling to this so precious

Cherish it like I treasure this so priceless

Wait patiently like the way I’ll stay with you forever

And love everything we have the way that ‘I love you’
