I have seen the fragrant hills

Rolling across the land

And I have seen the wide spread oceans

Its waves cooling the beach sand

I have seen the glistening stars

Looking down upon us all

And in have seen the dark green forests

Fire red in lukewarm fall

I have heard the songbird’s song

And the hawks powerful cry

And I have heard the wolves howl

Up to the moonlit sky

I have heard the wind speak

Whispering in my rest

And I have heard the trees sing

From upon the mountains crest

But now the rolling fragrant hill

Have become city streets

And the oceans are covered in sludge and muck

Polluted by human fleets

Now the bright and glistening stars

Are obscured by light and smog

And the old beautiful forests

Turned into tables and logs

The songs and cries of the birds

Blocked by city sounds

And the wolves who sent their howls

Hunted into the ground

The whispers of the wind

Ignored by the human race

And the trees on the mountain

Cut down without a trace

It’s what nature creates

That we decide to destroy

And what all the land fears

We choose to enjoy

And no one wonders

That if Mother Nature will cry

Would the animals care

If we were to die
