Pandora Bound

Where once there was naught

There is naught still.

Where once we danced

‘Tis still the illusion of joy.

Where once was beauty

Is now the empty shell as before.

Where once was innocence,

It is unchanged, for ‘twas ignorance.

Nothing changes in relation to you,

But you relate and change too.

Show me Prometheus freed,

I shall show you Epimetheus bound

For we are but mortals eternal,

And I am another lover,

Just another Pandora,

She who did the world ill,

She who does the world ill,

For I was born, mortal.
