Growling in hunger,

not getting younger

sitting here thinking,

blinking, brain shrinking.

Stars, my future winking

light years from here –

“Be of good cheer?”

Fuck that.

Dreaming of whores.

Scores of chores –

Get a lunch, get a life,

get a shrink, get a wife.

Summer school

never cool

when it’s three weeks

from today’s lofty peaks –

mountains of books,

my dazzling good looks,

classes to ditch,

homework’s a bitch.

Speaking of which,

Here’s my new pitch:

“I’d love to fuck the teacher

and show her my slide

rule.”
