Life Is Too Short

I lay in the grass with the sun on my face,
A sad lonely feeling is soon replaced,
With a warm tender touch telling me you're here,
A gentle breeze across my face lets me know you're near.

I'm missing your more and more each day,
Without you I've lost my way.
I promised I'd stay strong,
But it's so hard with you gone.

Life is too short,
And we grow up too fast,
So take crazy pictures,
So the memories will last.

I lay in the grass with the sun on my face,
A sad lonely feeling is soon replaced,
With a warm tender touch and one single tear,
Little things like this that let me know you're near.
