A/N: After over a year without eating junk food of any kind, I caved and ate a batch of French Fries at a drive in...

The resulting ode came to me while eating said fries. I'm inspired by the strangest things, I swear to you.

---

French fry, french fry, thing of beauty,

Whether doused in ketchup,

or in glorious nudity,

French fry, french fry, thing I crave,

I must resist you,

I must be brave,

French fry, french fry, full of fat,

Calories, grease, salt,

And this and that,

French fry, french fry, the devil's temptation,

I don't want to eat you,

But oh what a sensation!

French fry, french fry, tastes so good,

I'm not even sure you can be called food,

French fry, french fry, gold and crisp

Such a sweet smell,

but still I resist,

French fry, french fry, in a brown paper sack,

I can stand it no longer,

You're a welcome little snack,

French fry, french fry, so good past my lips,

You're so delicious,

Although I know you'll go straight to my hips,

French fry, french fry, I hope you're glad,

You've ruined my diet,

But oh well, it was only a fad.
