My mother is angry

Her rage compels a blind man to see

Her wrath emanate beyond compare

My mother is sad

Her tears cause floods

Her sobs trigger thunder

My mother is dying

Due to man kind

Her fires are killing

My Mother trembles in fear

Her quakes illustrate panic

Her waves clash with mortality

My Mother shaped me

Her guidance entwined within

Fused together over generations

I was greedy, and returned nothing
