If you could see into my mind
What would you attempt to find?
Would you see my nightmares
My hope and my dreams?
Would you take what I love most
And pursue it for your own means?
Would you simply study
And observe what I think?
Would you take hold of my thoughts
And try pushing me to sanity’s brink?

Would you change my ways
And consume my days?
Would you hold me higher that before?
Or know that I’m not your idol?
I could scar you forever more
And turn you suicidal.
You would run away in fear
To know what I always dream.
But it’s like looking in a mirror
We’re more alike that it might seem.

So the next time that you think I’m strange
You really need your concept to change.
We’re like family in cold blood
And you’d do well to remember
Through darkest thoughts, the mind’s mud
That we’re truly in this together.
Siblings in crime and nightmare
Forged from the same flames
We’re psychosis’ heirs
And together we’ll play our sick game.
