Maybe Some Day -
Okay, first thing's first... this is BL. No yaoi, no... nothing! Just BL and a small kiss. Sad, no?
But... right now, i'm tired and paranoid that I'll get caught on the computer (shifty eyes). Haha. I guess this is what you would call... Twincest? Hahaha.
"Are you sure this is the only thing to do?" I asked, tear racing down my face. He looked at me through his healthy, shiny red hair with his bark blue-eyes that seemed to tell everything. My tears had subsided since when he first told me, but I'm still a bit emotional.
"I love you, Izzy," was the only thing he said, before kissing me on the lips gently. "My beautiful twin, I wish you the best."
I sniffled softly, turning my head away from his face, towards the two large suitcases packed against the wall.
Maybe it is time to break apart…I thought.
--
The next day, Izzy's brother had loaded his belongings into the small cab that waited patiently in the front of their relatively small house. Izzy watched silently, his mood apathetic. Lynde turned to Izzy one last time before walking out of the house.
"Maybe some day."
Maybe some day…--
"Happy birthday my dear grandson! It's wonderful that you're so healthy, and living a good life," my grandmother, Belladonna announced gleefully, stretching his small arms out as far as she could. "Come give your grandmother a hug, now."
I enclosed the space between us and embraced my grandmother in a tight hug. "Thank you, Grandma," I said shyly.
"Oh, I just wish your brother was here to see how much a fine man you have become. Probably knows, since you two both looked so alike back then," she sighed. "Izzy, Izzy, Izzy. Have you heard anything from Lynde lately?"
I frowned at the mention of my twin.
Maybe some day…
--
"Izzy! Izzy!"
"What is it, Grandma?" I groaned sleepily.
"Izzy! I have just gotten a letter from Lynde in the mail!"
My eyes shot open, suddenly wide-awake.
"What!?"
"He's going to visit soon! Oh, dear, isn't that wonderful!"
Maybe some day…Maybe some day has come.
--
"Ooh, Lynde, you look so handsome," Grandmother cheered happily. "Come in now, lets have some tea."
"Yes, Mama," Lynde smiled cheerfully. "Oh, wow. You've done a lot to the place, haven't you?" he asked after he took a few steps into the house.
"Me? Oh, heaven's no! It was Izzy," Grandmother sighed. "Such a good boy he is. Now! Tell me about school in America! Must be exciting!"
"Yeah it is. Grandma, where is Izzy?" Lynde asked, preoccupied.
"Oh, he's in the back room with his friend, William," Grandmother waved her hand around aimlessly. "You can go join them if you want." She smiled.
"I will," Lynde smiled back.
--
"Alright! Come on! I'm going to for the high score!" I cried loudly, jumping onto the mat.
Will rolled his eyes. "Who knew DDR was such a hit," he mumbled sarcastically, picking at his fingers. "I'm so excited I'm going to have a heart attack!"
"You bet your bottom dollars you are," I replied absent minded.
"Ooh, DDR. What a hit in America it is," a voice that oddly sounded like mine sounded from the back of the room. Both Will and I turned our head to meet my brother, my twin.
"Lynde."
"Izzy."
"…Uh.. William?" Will asked, confused. I shook my head, my heart beating a million miles per minute.
"Oh, sorry Will," I swallowed loudly. "This… this is my brother, Lynde."
"Wow. You two look alike," will nodded his head, the spiked-up blond hair not moving one bit. "Yep."
Lynde bit his bottom lip and moved his eyes toward the ground. "Izzy… Can.. can I speak to you, in private?" he asked.
I was about to say no when Will exclaimed, "My uh… Aunt just called and said I had to drop off her medicine anyway! So, I'll see you tomorrow at school, Izzy." And raced out of the house, through the front door and into his car.
--
"Izzy-"
"…You came back…"
"Yeah, but it not permanent-"
"Why not?" I asked, my eyes downcast.
"Because, I have school in America," he replied.
"Why can't you just stay with us," I snapped, rising my head to glare at him.
"It's not that easy, Izzy!" he replied with the same tone.
"Then why'd you come to visit?" I asked. "Why would you put me through that kind of pain?"
"Don't tell me you're still-"
"Yeah, Lynde, I am."
Lynde's eyes widened in surprise. "You.. you didn't give up after the first three years? You didn't just go after other… guys?"
"No, Lynde, I didn't. I didn't go after anyone else!" I yelled, hand clenching into fist, a few drops of tears coming out of my eyes.
"But… but… why?"
"I love you, Lynde! I LOVE you! Why can't you just see that!?"
"And why can't you just see…"
Maybe…"That…"
Some…"I just you just as much, and maybe more?"
Day……Today.
Wow, okay.
That was the worst, and first, one-shot I have ever written. ;.;
You know what's sad? RIGHT after i finished this, I thought of "Club Spongebob"s shell saying, "Maybe some day." I was just like... "...Damn."
Reviews? Kay thanks. :D
