So '''''''''''' now'''''' the rain falls
And we are drenched
And with one final spin
One final blink ''''' ask '''''''''' am I cleansed
And I can’t tell ''''''' can’t tell
Can’t tell my own making
Nor see my own failing

We are waiting for the rain again
Waiting for inanimate objects to be alive
And stains
For azure skies to break and fold
And for one restrain to shift
To free us'''''''' for our preservation
For our beginning ''''''''''' our beginning
Of this end
But in sleep ''''''''''''' in fresh and empty sleep
Whilst we dream '''''' and twitch
Put animals in drawers ''''''' then
They’re needed back
Elsewhere and around my neck
