Dream’s of Asian and the Sea
Floating delicately on the breeze,
I can smell the scent of Asia and the Sea,
Crushed pearls and hot spices,
Perhaps it was only a dream.
A fading dream of the heated jungle,
Everyone ready no one fumbles,
Banana leaves and sweet mango fruits swaying in the warming night,
The danger of the hunt fills your mind and leaves no room to decide,
Could this be a dream?
A fleeting dream of the ocean shore,
With mermaid foam and sea salt offered up from the deep,
Shelled hermits and tiny mollusks washed from Davy’s grasp,
It could only be a dream.
Floating delicately on the breeze,
I can smell the scent of Asia and the Sea,
Crushed pearls and hot spices,
Perhaps it was only a dream.
