We had a poet come in as a guest for our English class, and she gave us a little assignment - to write a poem using the alphabet. Mine turned out fairly good, so I decided I'd post it. Yes, my nosebleeds do last for at least two hours (or something like that). Very annoying.

Alas, alack, not again. My nose

bleeds again while I’m in the washroom so I

can’t use two hands to

do up my belt.

Everyone’s nosebleeds last for

five or fifteen minutes but my nose

gushes on for

hours. It is dreadfully

irritating, but I cannot do anything about it, so I

just have to sit back and make sure the

Kleenex box is near. The

last time I got a nosebleed, I stuffed tissues into my nose and people asked why I had

marshmallows stuffed up my

nostrils.

Ouch, and my fingers are getting tired from

pinching so long. It’s

quite strange. No one else in my family has nosebleeds like me. My nose will be

red now, and feel

swollen and

throb.

Ugh, I hope the bleeding stops soon or I will be

very annoyed. I do

wish my nose could be fixed. At least I’m not in band where I have to play the

xylophone with two hands. Oh,

yes, by the way, the person who asked about the “marshmallows”? That was

Zack.
