True Blue

Nature's great champion has entered heaven's gate

He died too soon, in a freak accident

We'll miss you mate.

He was a man no one could hate

His fate was something nothing could prevent

New ideas about conservation, you did create.

Animals everywhere, for him they await.

Conservation was his only intent

We'll miss you mate.

The zoo staff and his loved ones were one family, no debate

Everyone in the world watched his hour long segment

New ideas about conservation, you did create.

Dedication was his best trait

Lack of enthusiasm of was never absent

We'll miss you mate.

Why could he not wait?

Steve-O, do you know what you meant?

New ideas about conservation, you did create.

We'll miss you mate.
