A/N: This was something I wrote initially about a friend but then it totally lost itself and virtually wrote itself. I sort of gave into its rhythm – I guess it's more about this book I was reading ages ago about this girl… yeah. Thanks for reading!

Hey! You're online!
She's a miracle
She's company during the day,
A comfortable silence where words mean nothing
And she consoles me,
At night.
Where her face is the screen
And bloodshot I stare
Fingers crossed she replies?
At night.
Where I can give my troubles to the wind
And watch them converse
As she swirls around me
A treasured blanket,
At night.
For the wind. I just don't care
Her hand reaches mine, bringing with her
Warmth for the inside,
At night.
What a wonderful feeling!
To be loved. To find
Love. Fingers pattering
As we converse,
At night.
Circling, comforting,
It's the truth, she says
I wish it were mine
At night.
She's concerned.
Reluctantly I hang up my cloak
And let the mask melt,
It fizzles on the floor, angry
At night.
He's looking at another! She frets.
It's alright. Jealously's clouding your mind
It's a two-way street,
At night.
And like a vacant beehive
They swarm in. When the buzzing dies
You heal, I watch the stings disappearing,
At night.
He's taking over your life.
Gosh it hurts when the truth
Slams you in the face,
But you've got to be ready,
At night.
A/N: So how did we like it? It would be awesome if you left a review.
