Warning: Never feed small children as many cookies as Susumu and Hisoki eat. It's not safe. (lol)

Psychic Avenue Shorts

Early Bird

Susumu, age ten, reached up to the kitchen counter and grabbed a cookie from the plate, which had about ten cookies. He was about to take the first bite, when his four year old brohter walked in the room.

"I want cookie!" Hisoki said. Susumu smirked and took a slow bite out of the cookie, savoring the taste. Hisoki glared in chibi annoyance, and then pushed a chair up to the counter. He clumsily climbed on it and got a cookie.

They continued eating the cookies in silence until the both reached for the same one, the last one.

"Mine!" Hisoki informed his older brother.

"I was here first, so it's mine", Susumu insisted.

"I want it."

"Too bad."

"You can't boss me!"

"Yes, I can."

"Nah-ah."

"Ah-ha."

"Nah-ah."

"Ah-ha."

As they continued to argue, their seven year old sister walked by and grabbed the cookie. Hearing munching, they turned around to see Kimi eating the last bite of the cookie.

"No fair!" Both boys shouted.

Now done chewing, she stuck her tongue out and then walked off.
