((( Beauty In Many Colors )))
--
I live in a small town where gay people are just looked down upon ... or anything different really isn't their thing... they will not openly say it to that person, but you will know that they don't like you for doing whatever it is that is different. My little town has changed from the time it kicked out African Americans, but I remember my mother telling me about it. Then I was thinking there are African Americans here now! I guess the town as changed, but there are still red - necks out there around my area who will put out the Confederate Flag... and all else that goes with it. Not openly will these people say something, but you know they are out there. The wouldn't harm anyone as far as I know, but still knowing that hate is still going on around where I live then I think about all of America and how people teach their children hate. I feel no matter what color you are you are still a wonderful and great person for being who you are inside and out. People can't change their skin color because it was something God gave us all. He gave us the power to be different. I think that we all should embrace what we are inside and out. Look at the sky and think today is a good day because I am an American. Today is a good day because I am an African American! Today is a good day because I am different and beautiful all in the same.
