Secret Keepers

The Stars are the Secret Keepers of time,

Who see all the unseen.

Who throughout the ages have seen the true essence of man,

And the secrets he keeps from his own.

The Stars are the Secret Keepers of Knowledge,

Who know more then all the world’s people combined.

Who know the truth behind the myths,

Which so many have made to hide mistakes of the past.

You cannot fool the Secret Keepers,

With lies that fool the unknowing.

For they are not blind, like so many others

Who believe your false hoods.

The Stars are the Eyes of Time,

The Vaults which hold the treasure;

The unknown truth

Forever exposing us to their own,

Showing our vulnerability behind the façade we put on everyday.

The Stars are the Story Tellers of Time,

Who tell their Secrets in ways man cannot ever hope to understand.

They store our secrets to themselves,

To protect man from destroying itself with this knowledge.

Though our secrets die with us,

Never to be spoken aloud,

They are brought up to the Stars as truth.

Forever showing us that the Stars know all,

And that nothing can be hidden from the Secret Keepers of Time.

A/N: This was written for another contest and won first prize. It didn’t come out like I wanted it to, but if other people like it then I’m not complaining. I wrote this thinking about everything that goes on history that we don’t know about and what stuff is actually true if we can’t prove it happened. I also have this feeling that maybe something, somewhere, knows about everything we do and actually stores in records or something.
