A/N: I LOVE ROMANCE, so here is another one of those 'personification' romances, the ones everybody loves.

Sanity is overrated.

(something you'll want to know when you get to the end of this.)

They lived in two separate yet interrelated universes. Their best friends were siblings, twins with brownish hair and tanned skin or reddish hair and pale skin, depending on the season.

He was tan all over all the time, even in the dead of winter. Unless you looked closely, his hair seemed to blend in with his face, both really smooth when treated a certain way. Her face was always hidden behind her wavy hair, sometimes dyed Jolly Rancher purple and other times dyed Hot Tamale red.

She had dated his best friend and he hers, but the chemistry between those couples was too stable, absolutely no sparks or explosions. They were empty relationships, just a name other than friends.

They constantly eyed the other; the gaze of each dropping when the other lifted his or her head. These coy glances were not unnoticed by the twins. The twins, though initially envious, saw that their best friends were perfect for each other.

They were dared to go out with each other. They, looking to save their honor, did.

During a slow song, they were suddenly thrust together onto the dance floor by the twins. They looked into each other's eyes, and he was instantly against her, close enough to feel every single part.

That first kiss was magic.

Everybody saw they were meant for each other; their names, a testimony to everlasting love and passion, forever were taken together.

Their names were Peanut Butter and Jelly.

A/N: So who saw that coming at the end? I wrote this when I was drowsy but too hyper to fall asleep. Feel free to comment on anything, even if it is just a misplaced comma or misused word. Guess who the twins are. PLEASE REVIEW!!
