Defining Sin

A man cuddling cash like a soft teddy bear
Ben Franklins and George Ws, his love affair.

A boy snoring, his young bones worn with sloth
Clothes reeking of a strong stench, hard to get off.

A bully boasting of his latest fight
Nevermind the victim who can’t sleep at night.

A woman glancing into every mirror
None second to appearance, none dearer.

A girl swooning after a gorgeous boy
Drool buckets under chin, fail to be coy.

An old crone fingers her many wrinkles
Watching said girl and her mind so fickle.

And finally, a child whose only comfort
Is his food, energy he doesn’t exert.
